The drl are on the high beams in the 2000 to 2002 lights.

Thanks for the heads up as I did state may or may not have DRL issues. I'm loathe to review manuals sometimes......... This makes it a simple choice whether to cut open light assemblies to custom fit hid projectors or not. My '03 L300 uses low beams as DRLs..... And since I have projector lights but halogen lamps I simply replaced them with hid lamps and ballasts to have DRLs and low beam hid lights.

Can you make the picture bigger?!

I can't see anything to suggest your headlight assembly was modified. Did you cut a hole to fit a hid projector assembly where the low beam reflector resided? If yes then kudos for the effort.

It kills me, on every other forum the pic size is normal and here it's huge. I took the entire headlight apart, I cut off the glare shield and then made the center hole larger. I then installed a Morimoto H1 bixenon projector and put it all back together. It is not easy or quick, but the results were great.
