Question saturnfans.com e-mail

I'm just wondwring how many people out there have an email address here at saturnfans.com, and what you people think about it. I have no control on what happens to it, I'm just a fellow user.

I don't have one for two reasons.... I already have an email that everyone uses to send me email and I don't want to switch again... and the other thing is I'm not too big on the domain for the email: mail.saturnfans.com or something like that... if it was shorter ie: saturnfans.com I'd be a smidge more interested.

Yeah I don't need another e-mail address. When you run your own (small) hosting company, have two servers, about a hundred or so total domains hosted, and 5 of your own e-mail address to keep track of, one more isn't worth it :P

We already have PM for fellow saturn fans, so I don't see the need to have another email address here just for myself.

I use it for the Saturn boards. It will (?) do some things that PM won't. I think that it's a nice feature for Charlie to be able to give to us. But if it came down to being to much time and trouble?money for him then it certainly could be gotten rid of. With notice of course!!! Nedd to retrive the e-mail addys from it.

I have one, but i dont use it as my main address.

Its nice sometimes to have a semi-anonymous email address.

I use hotmail (msn really) for my main email address, and saturnfans if MSN decided not to work some day. That way I can at least write to people.

But now there's a girl I like so the computer isn't used so much. Buy my cell phone is getting a lot more use.

I've got e-mail with Saturnfans ~ thanks Charlie!! I don't get a lot of "junk mail" on it, which I really like.

I get pop-ups, but no spam. ********** porno sites send that junk to my msn.com account all the time, despite a mile-long 'blocked' list. Same with those 'debt consolodation' and 'free trip' people. There's no junkmail in my saturnfans.com box

Good topic! Its nice to hear what everyone thinks about the SaturnFans Webmail service -- especially those who use it regularly. There are a few hundred webmail users out there, so I don't plan to get rid of the service any time soon. The feedback I've received privately over the years has been positive. I like it because when I'm away from home I can check both my webmail and POP email accounts all at the same time.

Thanks for the feedback!
Charlie

Well, cool. This thread is aging, and I'll keep seeing people's replys and stuff, but not as much as I used to. Oh yea, today's my 1st day at my new job- the "lot guy" at Saturn of Grand Rapids. I wonder if I can get the GM discount for buying new cars.
