2007 VUE 2.2L
Default Dubs are on...not Rebels...

Not rebels, but they are close hey...

20X8 ASA JH8 Wheels. 245/40/20 General UHP tires.

I really thought it would look more lifted than this. But I am still planning on installing the eibachs...

Ride is just as smooth as before (which has alot to do with the squishy General UHP sidewalls), weight was kept to a minimum (56 lbs total), so acceleration is barely affected. Really happy with them.

Very nice!!!

The JH8's or Kazera KZ-A's were going to be my 2nd choice if I hadn't gotten the rebels. They look pretty sweet now that I've actually seen them on a Vue!

I can't wait til its dropped.

Yin, you want your wheels to stick out? Stickout is minimal with these (7mm) and I would not want it any other way. Images of flying rocks and dirt hitting the sides of the vehicle

Not sticking out, just closer to the fender edge. 30 or a 35 offset

Steinfire,

Yes it's still stock height. Not as horrible as I thought, and ride is as smooth or smoother...Still, I'm sitting on a box of Eibachs, so I'll have to slap them on...

Yin,

As far as I can tell, mine are at the edge or close to sticking out. 35mm offset , they will be sticking out I believe. Popp or Burnout can tell you all about it I guess.

PS Mileage seems to be affected...stay tuned for the low-down. I will be upping my pressure to 42 psig (from 40 psig, good job Tirerack), maybe that will help a little. This is much better than bedroom furniture. I guess being single has its advantages after all

Well, the 5 speed 4 cyl is certainly not a highway car...

At 73mph, slight headwind, I averaged a whopping 21.8mpg...So it seems I will have to do something about that 5th gear...

The engine was spinning 3300 rpm, and it could easily go down to 2700 rpm with not driveability issues. I will be looking at getting the taller cobalt/cavalier 5th gear in there. Of course, i'm sure the 245/40/20 performance tires are not helping either...

For the most part, the automatic on my V-6 tries to keep things at or below 1500RPM. If I'm at or above 60mph, it goes up closer to 2000RPM.

Man, if the offset was just a bit "less"..... they would be perfect.

Aren't spacers a "no go" for Vue's?

You planning on a drop?

very nice look, I see what your saying about tucked in. These are the ones you were talking about at +42mm offset correct? that's a 17 mm offset difference from the ones I'm interested in, it sounds like alot until you convert it to inches .67 inches a little over a half.

YIn, if you would prefer more stick-out, then go with the Rebels. They would stick out roughly 14mm more. Yes I am planning on a drop. I'm sitting on a box of eibachs right now...

Yes Counterfit, these are 42mm offset, and 8 inches wide. IIRC the rims you were looking at were Casinos, and they are most likely 8.5 inches wide vs my 8 inches. So stickout vs mine would be approximately 23mm or almost an inch.

I might go with casinos as they can be had with the same sizes as the rebels. Too many people have rebels, lol. Still looking around though, not much to choose from....
