not sure to go with this one, forgot to remove the jack from under the oil pan before torquing down this bolt and it's snapped off

I have a feeling your only option if to grab another mount bracket from the junkyard. Number 4 in the diagram. Someone else may have a better idea though

That broken stud should be easy to fix, I sure wouldn't spend $50 for a new bracket (or make a JY visit).

If the stud can be threaded out like the 3 on the timing cover, they yes it would be an easy fix. I'm pretty sure that the studs are part of the bracket though and can't be removed separately. I may be wrong on that though as I have never had to replace one. Looking at the part diagram I just assumed they couldn't be

I haven't looked closely at that part in a while but I think the stud is welded on. You may be able to drill it out and use a bolt & nut, but I bet that would be a pain. A junkyard is a good option.

Yeah, I think they are welded; would need to be drilled out. I also think a screw and nut could work, but agree it would not be as easy to change that mount. How many times is it done, though? I have only changed one in the entire time I have had my SL2s (about 500K miles combined).

If the OP can drill it out, then taking it by a muffler shop to have a screw welded in as new stud would be mychoice. Easier, and probably cheaper in the long-run, than a JY. Of course, if the OP does not have good drilling capability, then this is all moot.

OP, where are you located? Maybe some kind soul is nearby with the tools to help you do this.

Remove bracket from body.

Drill out the bolt - to size.

Put in a bolt - and tack weld a corner or two of the bolt to the bracket.

Easy peasy.
