Default B+G Springs Ready For Install

Bought some B+G Springs today. I was debating between Eibach and B+G but the guys at Gravana made me an offer I couldnt refuse. $180 cash out the door compared to $229.99 for Eibachs. I live about 5 miles from their shop so no shipping fees. Will be installing in the next couple days. Ill definately be checking out the photos from Jentzsch23's install for guidance.

damn... that's a good price. good luck on the install. if you have an air gun, you can complete the install without having to go to a shop. maybe even fill in any missing info from jentzsh's install guide.

Gravana says customers are reporting about a 1.6" drop front and rear.

SPRINGS ARE INSTALLED!!!

Easy as pie. The install took about 2 hours(mostly compressing springs). Rear end was a sinch. Im not even someone that knows what they're doing in the garage either. The springs ride awesome. Looks perfect.

Almost got arrested after test driving the new springs when my friends neighbor called the cops because I took a corner too fast. The crazy guy wouldnt even let me get in my own car LOL. But I made a clean getaway.

Oh well Heres a couple pics of install.

Ride feels super comfortable. Stiff but in no way too stiff. Only problem so far is my muffler rubbing on the ground in steep driveways. Gonna make a bumper cut-out and raise the muffler a little to solve the prob. I would definately recomend B+G.

Would like to see your idea for this cut-out. I have been thinking about that for when my Thermal comes.

If you do do it, please post pics and how-to

Dont know exactly where to get it but Ive seen something that will work. You basically make a rough cut into the bumper. Then there is a plastic mold piece(same shape as cut-out) that fits into the cut-out that makes the edges look clean. That way you dont have to take it to a body shop and spend a couple hundred dollars.

Im gonna check out the performance shops in the area to see whats out there.

Nice car . . . looks like my car's twin! I'm installing an Injen CAI this weekend. Got my Skunks, waiting to buy anti-sway bars, and do all the same time. I'm going to let the tires wear, and look into 18" rims later this year. Nice job on the springs!

Heres a good pic of the before and after. Sits almost an inch lower when the car's full of people. This is definately the sweetest mod yet.

I know. When I got my springs done, the car just look so much better and the ride is great. I really loved my drop. Welcome to the "bottom"
