Sound like you have a bad switch.

the switch is the little thing that you turn. It could also be a sticking relay of some sort too.

Your auto car start must be aftermarket. Never heard of an S-Series with a factory auto start.

I have no keyless entry. Only the auto start componant was hooked up. No, there is no dash lights blinking on and off at all. I have pulled the fuses out for all the lights (under hood fuse box) and still does not turn them off. There are no light fuses on the inside passenger fuse box.

Does the autostarter have a reason to turn on the parking lights? (most do.) Sounds like its little brain is tired and confused.

If the problem comes back again........
PARKING LIGHTS ( + ) wire is BROWN (+) and is located @ HEADLIGHT switch. You might want to take a look at that(to see if it's intact). Also some of the remote starter units use a relay to to complete the connection at the parking light. You might as well check the relay if it's working good. Most remote starters tap into these wire for the parking lights to flash when you remote start the car.
Or just you can also try to reset the remote starter module by unplugging all the wire to it and reconnecting them after few min(usually 1 min).
