Default Heater acting weird

While we are on the subject of "weird" thigs:

My 2007 Xr's heater is acting up. It works fine in the morning. (Temp remains relevant to temp setting.) However, when I start for home in the PM, I notice it will blow only cold air no matter what temp setting it is at.

I have tried switching from def to heat, to outside to inside, auto to manual, cold to hot, but it takes a long time to react.

Anyone else experience this?

Default Re: Heater acting weird

Never experienced this on my Aura, but I have on my Suburban. The blend door was stuck.

The fix was to pull the HVAC fuses, let it sit for 20 minutes or so, then put the key in the run position. This cycled the door back to its home position. If that didnt work, then I would of needed to replace the electric motor.

Thanx. low saturn.
I might give it a try over this busy weekend. I'm hoping for a quick fix.

Have a nice Christmas!
