Default I need help with my 2000 Saturn SL2 Overheating issues

I have a 2000 Saturn SL2 and it overheats on me. I just replaced the radiator because it overheated and blew the top off the radiator. I also replaced the thremostat and fan motor. Right now the fan still doesn't turn on and the car starts to get hot. Please help, I don't know what else to do

Replace the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECTS) and check the fan realy. Actualy those things should of been done first. Your original thermostat and fan motor were probably fine. I also doubt overheating had anything to do with the radiator failure. They just crack as they get older.

Also post questions like this in the S-Series section. You wont get very many answers in this section.

There was a mention of checking the fan relay in post #2 (misspelled as "realy") which might be of use to you as well.

I see that you've also made a similar posting in the S Series Tech Forum. That's really the best place to have put up such a thread. Forum etiquette around here is to avoid duplicate threads in differing locations. We can all view every forum available. Good luck!!
