Hi all,
just got out of a P341 code simply by replacing the wires. Now all left to do is get rid of P401 and P405. some things i did..... took out egr valve, cleaned it started car without egr attached in order to blow the carbon out some things i noticed i did not do.... clean egr passage.... wouldnt know how ... and replace egr gasket.... i cant tell whether or not i am suppose to replace it.... or even how to replace it if its stuck on a part.... (scrape it?) and more.... dont know much about this topic thank you all in advance for reading and helping with suggestions, really appreciate it. 99 sc2 1.9 dohc |

Your egr valve is an electric one, using stepper motors to move the pintle valve. The feedback sensor is electronic and senses pintle valve position that's sent back to the pcm to tell the pcm what position the pintle valve is in.
