Default .043 spark plug gap for 2006 Ion?

That's what the guy at Autozone just told me over the phone, but getting advice from someone at Autozone is basically like ordering a pizza and getting sushi instead. I can't count the times those guys have given me the wrong parts for all of my cars.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

.043 sounds about right for a stock engine and car... the gap needed can change depending on what you’re asking of it...

If we had high voltage coils available we could widen the gap and get better spark, and boosted cars sometimes need a narrower gap to maintain spark under high boost...

You’re not driving a Redline, are you?

Too many mods to list in sig...

“Stock” is nowhere in my vocabulary...

I'm looking the paperwork and it simply says 2006 Saturn Ion Sedan 4 (I'm guess the 4 is how many doors it has.) I know it has a 2.2L DOHC ecotec engine. I don't know if it's an Ion 2 or 3 or whatever. I am pretty sure it's not a redline.

(I bought it from a used car dealership)

.043 plug gap is for the 2.2L engine. 0.40 gap is for the 2.0L supercharged engine.
