Default Remote Key FOBs

Does anyone know if there is a difference in key fobs between 2nd gen and 3rd gen "S" series Saturns? My daughter was cleaning out her room and found a key fob that I know for sure is either from the 99 SL2 I owned that was totaled whole she was driving it last fall or a 2001 Sl2 I scrapped out because I did not want to deal with the trans issues.
It's a good working remote with FCCID AB0 (or Q hard to tell) 1502T so it could either be AB01502T or ABQ1502T and GM part #16246100-28
Currently trying to sell it on flea bay but not really sure how I should list it. Not asking a lot for it. Just figure better it go to someone who can use it (even for cheap) than to throw it out

I think there is an error it the part number you've provided and it is actually 16245100. Based on this part number it is for a 96-99 Saturn among other GM vehicles (Chevrolet, Pontiac) as per the list below. It is not compatible with the GEN3 Saturns.

Best to use all the numbers when selling on eBay because searchers could be using any of the three numbers

Check some of madpogue's old postings - there is a common typo (I think the letter O instead of the number zero) that will yield hits, too.
People make the mistake when searching, but if you list the incorrect number, they will still find it.

That list is missing the NBS Silverado's '99-'00 (they aren't the K-Series...). My '00 Silverado 2500 use's the same FOB '96-'99 S-Series use's (also the same stereo connector).

My dad's buddies '04 Silverado use's a similar looking FOB but the numbers are different.

I think the difference would be that the "C" and "K" series trucks would have used a 3 button remote as there is no need for a trunk button. The exception would have been the Tahoe and Suburban. The difference between the "C" and "K" series is 2WD vs 4WD respectively. I'm not sure why the Chevrolet K1500 and K2500 is on that list but I just copied it from a parts site as per the link.

I noticed on after market sites that the FOB part number refers to 2 button, 3 button and 4 button remotes. The Saturn used the 4 button version.
