What has happened to the rear spoiler on the new 2003 L300 series, as it was an option in 2002 for the same car and now I don't see it for the 2003's ???
Is it still available or will have to go out and get an aftermarket one ??? This doesn't seem right. Would some one please let me know (Anybody). Thx Anxious Soon to be Saturn owner.

What the heck do you want a spoiler for? A spoiler actually raises your coefficient of drag number, ie., hurts your mileage. The L's are all front wheel drive. Spoilers were invented for rear wheel drive cars because they had no weight over the driving wheels.
Next you'd be wanting to put some bigass fat slicks in the back just to finish the illusion. As this disease set in, you'll find you have a desire to slap stickers on the car from parts manufacturers that sound cool, but damn if you know what they make. Then this infection continues with insatiable desires for: - little lights on the windsheild misters - removing your 2 wipers and installing one in the middle only. - tires that are all rim and no rubber - lowering everything so it scrapes across cracks in the asphalt - "blind hole" air intakes - window tinting that collects tickets from every cop you pass - weird looking white-chrome-under-clear-plastic tail lights - putting "eyelids" over the top half of your headlights - perfume bottle in the shape of a car on the dash In the final stages of this horrible affliction you will put florescent blacklight tubes under your car to illuminate the road under there why I don't know, and one around your rear licence plate. You will then put a 6" coffee can on your tail pipe tip. You will stand back, look at this mess, look at your empty wallet, say to yourself "My God, What Have I Done???" and die of embarrassment. Tragic but true. Fight it, man!!!

Does the Spoiler even exist for 03 anymore? I think it looked nice on the L300...but now the 03Ls have that 'protruding' panel between the tailights...the spoilers might have deleted because they no longer sit at the edge of the tail...I dunno. It definately looks too empty there.

I'm sorry, I wanted to rant because one of those !@#$'s had just cut me off, then slammed on his brakes and made a right turn. That kind of driving seems to be promoted when someone adds a wing to the back of his car.
So I was just letting off steam. My apologies.

No spoiler is available from the factory on 2003 Saturn L's. Not even as an option.
I would think, though, that the old spoiler would fit the '03's, and I'm sure they are available.
