Default A Rainbow Vaccuum? What would you do?

I Couldn't install my SPS wires and NGK plugs today. My wife said we'd sit through a Rainbow vaccuum demo. Guess who sat? Not her. Yah, it's a great vaccuum, but let's see what I could put on my SW2 for $2,000 (that's the cost of teh vaccuum, "discounted")...

$500 Full Body Kit
$1,000 New paint job & Vinyl Graphics
$250 Lowering Springs
$150 Racing Seat on drivers side
And $100 left to take my wife out on the Las Vegas strip for a date in the "new" car :-)

Or a vaccuum???

Nope, didn't buy it.

What would you do to your Saturn with $2,000?
or would you buy the vaccuum?

...

Performance: Short Ram, Magnaflow, SPS Wires

$2000...

Ummm, put it towards my 9X turbo Lotus Esprit SE. Hehe, that is actually what I would do.

But if it had to go to the Saturn, I would probably be hunting a Quaife; Or new seats and 4 point harneses, a port job and a NX 50HP kit.

My car is pretty new though. The paint is in good condition and I already have many of the mods I want to have. Most of the less expensive mods have already been done. I have a few more competitive mods to do, after that I have a handful to do for fun. Then the Saturn will probably be done. Yeah, I know they say you are never done, but I need to get that Lotus and my Saturn still needs to be a daily driver.

$2000?

I would buy the Pioneer AVIC-N1 or N2. Or maybe another saturn

1998 Chevrolet Blazer LT
all stock for now (nothin' wrong with that either)

I'll miss my Saturn, from the AEM CAI to the rear main oil seal leaks to the giant APC stickers on the side (sarcasm)

Screw the vacuum. I'd be doing a twin-cam/MP3 swap and putting colour matched bumpers on. Tint would be there as well as a CAI, maybe a less restrictive exhaust as well (would take some planning). I would also start thinking towards a turbo setup if I had any $$ left over.

Ambitious, I know... You did ask though

For $2000? Header, head work, high lift/long duration cams, Redline struts and absorbers, strut tower brace, and rear sway bar. Yeah. And maybe new tires.

2 grand for a vacum?????? That thing better better do more than suck the floor. I'm thinking the money would be much better spent on a new system, amps and subs.

I do have a Dyson Animal vacuum, that ran $500 and my wife had to do a lot of convincing. Worth every penny with cats and a dog though. But $2k? Geezz....I'd buy a direct port nitrous kit and a qualife.

where'd you find a race seat for $150? the lowest price one I've seen is the $220 Corbeau Forza and the bracket is $80 on top of that. $300 total per side.

I've used a friend's rainbow- wtf? 2K? no way. it's worth 279 like every other vac out there. our bissell works better than that rainbow worked, and I don't have to change the water!
try a cutco knife demo- they run lots o' $ too.

My parents have one, and its pretty awesome. It doesn't use a bag; it collects the dirt into a water tank, so - no dust. Plus you can put scent into the water and freshen the air in the house.

Still, you gotta have priorities.
