like 95% of plugs are NOT pregapped. Gap them to .040" I dont see why everyone makes such a big deal about gapping them. Its such a trivial task and takes like 15 seconds a plug.

I work at advance auto and have had people spend an extra 2 or $3 a plug just to get pregapped ones. Their reasoning is beyond me

A "gap tool" cost next to nothing; and since at least one out of every set of plugs needs adjusting, I highly recommend "gapping" (checking & adjusting IF NECESSARY) all plugs.

Yah, I know how to gap plugs, that the tool is cheap, and that it takes only a few seconds... I don't see anything in my post indicating that it's a big deal.

I recently moved and don't know where my gap tool is. If someone knew that they were pre-gapped it would save be a trip to Autozone to buy a new tool.

I hope you did not take my post the wrong way. I was not referring to you or implying anything. Just stating something I've noticed about lots of other ppl.

Found my gap tool in the bottom of a box. The NGK's where pregapped to the right gap!!!

Couldn't install them today. My wife said we'd sit through a Rainbow vaccuum demo. Guess who sat? Not her. Yah, it's a great vaccuum, but let's see what I could put on my SW2 for $2,000 (that's the cost, "discounted")...

$500 Full Body Kit
$1,000 New paint job & Vinyl Graphics
$250 Lowering Springs
$150 Racing Seat on drivers side
And $100 to take my wife out on the Las Vegas strip for a date in the "new" car :-)

Or a vaccuum???
