Default A little something different

So I had a few rocks chips and scratches on the hood, and was thinking about repainting it, but then I had some carbon fiber work done on one of my other cars, and thought it might work well on the Astra.

A less costly alternative to paint, it does set it apart, and confuses people even more about as to what kind of vehicle it is.

I also re-did the roof rails to match the grille and hood since those were peeling, so far it's held up well over the past several months. Just passing the idea along.

Guessing it is a carbon fiber wrap?
Considering doing that to my hood as a stop gap as whoever repainted it before I bought it did a terrible job.

Yes, carbon fiber wrap. Good stuff, and not only a cheaper than a repaint, but makes it a bit more unique as well.

NP, those are the Thule bars, I think that fit kit # is the same, it's the 50" square bar.

Nope, pretty straightforward. Proper prep, like any surface adhesive would require, and a bit of patience.
