If you have no access to a repair manual of any kind send me a p/m with an email address. I will send you information.

Nothing came up when I searched airbag or wheel removal. Once I did a search for clockspring removal a video was listed that detailed removing the airbag and wheel. Hope this helps

Releasing the spring clips that hold the airbag is very difficult. A flat blade screwdriver of a very specific length is required. The last time I did this I just cut the plastic cover on the back of the steering wheel at the 6 o'clock position and just pulled it off. This exposes the clips which can then be easily released. The cover just snaps back into place when you are done. You won't notice the cut. Don't forget to disable the airbag before you start at the yellow connector under the dash.

For the air bag It says to rotate the screwdriver but I 've had more luck with rotating and pushing the screwdriver back and forth at the same time. And you gotta really bury the screwdriver first. I've taken the instrument panel right out to give me more room at times. After you hear those four clicks to release the bag, the steering wheel is ice cream. Loosen the nut and pull. don't take it off you'll whack yourself real bad when the wheel snaps loose.
