2008 Astra XR
Default 08 Power Window Roll-up Problem

Hi everyone. I’ve had my 08 Astra for almost two years now (second owner), and I like it a lot. It is the nicest car I’ve ever owned. It has 70k miles at this point, 17k of which are mine.

This forum has been hugely valuable to me in the past, and helped guide me through numerous repairs on both of my previous SL2s.

I’ve recently come across an issue with my Astra’s driver-side window. When I roll it up, holding the switch all the back, the window hits the top, and then rolls right back down. If I inch it up, it stays put. But if I hold the lever, it goes back down. It can be a little frustrating. Does anyone have any insight to cause of this issue?

Thanks in advance, you guys are awesome.
