![]() Very low mileage for the model year. The pictures look pretty good EXCEPT....that 2" Receiver hitch would concern me. That's a very small car/engine to be towing something that needs a 2" receiver. Very hard on a transmission. Check this carefully when you test drive it.
Car seems to have been serviced on a regular basis looking at the Carfax report. Since it has lived in a rust prone state, check for rust on the sub frame and suspension. This would be a coin toss in my opinion but would reserve that thought until I saw and test drove the vehicle. Let us know what you decide. ... 2004 L-Series Wagon 2.2 2004 L-Series Wagon 2.2 2004 L-Series Wagon 3.0

![]() No, the engine is not similar to the 3.0L V6 engine in L300's. The 3.0L engine came from Europe in the Vectra and Saab series cars and transplanted into the failed Cadillac Catera (baby Cadillac). The Alera's 3.4L engine is GM's domestic design for American cars with a questionable history.

![]() I don't think that engine was ever in a Saturn. That's a GM 60° V6.
L series cars had the Opel 3.0L 54° V6. Totally different. Vues got the Honda 3.5L V6 or the 3.0L Opel. The 2008 and up Vues had the newer 60° high feature V6 which was a joint venture with Opel. The GM 60°engines are solid. It goes back to the 2.8L ones from the '80's. ... 2002 SC2 1.9L 2007 Vue 3.5L 1985 Fiero SE 3.1L 1974 Triumph Spitfire 3.1L V6 2002 Ram duelly diesel 5.9L 1975 Honda PA50 0.05L (Swarm and destroy)

![]() If it had an Ecotec 2.2 I would at least check it out. By 2003 the timing chain had seen an upgrade or two. I would stay clear of a pushrod 3.4, they had intake manifold problems leading to oil pan failure. Too much antifreeze in the oil can make the rods try to exit the pan. LOL.
