2009 Outlook XE
Default liftgate pad fail

We can't open the rear liftgate on our 2009 Outlook. It's not the powered one, just gas struts. I suspect the switch under the rubber pad at teh rear may have failed. I also saw earlier posts where the unit was under a recall. Anyone know about this?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
