The 55W H3 bulbs are working well. I needed them TODAY, as it turned out.

It's good to have the fog lights back in service.

Glad you got them working. Fog lights and a spoiler on a first gen sl2 give it a finished look that the other sedans don't have.

HELPFUL TIP: For those replacing your old fog light assemblies, KEEP the metal retainer clip on the back side of the reflector.
You will need it, as the replacement reflector assembly does not have a metal retainer clip!

Those clips should be available as a replacement part as they are generic and tend to get lost. If I needed 1 or 2 I would call up one of the specialty lamp suppliers.

For reference, the part number for those fog lamp retainer clips is:

Check that number as it does not come up as good.

I found some listings and they claim it is a discontinued part as far as GM is concerned. There are just 2 dealers that list having it. Back to the aftermarket high end lamp dealers.

I found all of that, it is a discontinued part from GM and GM Parts Direct does not even list it. It is a dead number that will not get a part.

You have to get one from someone who sells the European aftermarket lamps.
