Default First time Saturn owner

Hello,

I recently acquired a 2002 SC1 M5 with 170K. I bought this vehicle to drive to and from work everyday because I live an hour away and my Trailblazer SS fuel economy is pretty horrible at 16mpg highway.

Anyway, I love this little SC1 already. There's only a few minor things to address and it will be perfect. Needs an intake gasket, which I already have purchased. There's a little slop in the shifter that I will look into when the weather improves. Condensation in the headlights, which I'm not sure how to resolve. Otherwise it's a great little car and I look forward to learning from this forum and also contributing as much as I can as well.

Thanks.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Welcome to the forum! If you search, you'll find several threads that address both of those issues. I have a Jeep Cherokee that I use as a daily driver during the Winter, but the 18 MPG kills me. I also have a 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman S, but it has not been the most durable of vehicles and in the DC area they love to rape you for premium fuel. A low mileage SL2 was the answer! Good luck!

2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 (toy and sometimes commuter, 18k miles)
1996 Jeep Cherokee 5-speed (bad weather commuter, 189k miles)

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
