Default P0741

Anyone have a fix for this? Dealers said it could be in the TCM, valve body or Torque Converter. Of coursde for the low price of $3600 they could fix it. Or $4700 to replace the whole transmission. I have already replaced the TCM and Torque Converter in the last 2 months with remanufactured versions from Summit Racing and Advance Auto. Could it really be one of them?

Scan tool connected me to repair solutions. Verified fix was valve body separator plate. Estimated cost to fix $500. DIY cost about $15. Replaced it today with a helper in about 3 1/2 hours. No check engine light yet.

That's ridiculous! $500 compared to $15. That's why I try to do everything DIY.

Well the CEL came on again Sunday about 4 times on a 100 mile round trip. Clear the code and keep driving. Maybe it is the TCM?

Still getting the CEL with P0741. Goes into limp mode. Then clear the code and all is fine again. I don't see how it could be mechanical, since it works after clearing the code. Anyone with a solution?
