2001 SW2
Default 200k miles maintenance

Hello I just bought a 2001 sw2 Stickshift with 200k miles and with a new clutch installed. For Uber cheap now my question is what should I look for and what should I do to make sure it lasts an extra 200k miles I replaced the ignition switch cylinder and the coolant sensor it was owned by a mechanic who did regular oil changes with 5w30. The only problems it currently has is a small oil leak somewhere near the exhaust and it needs a new tps sensor which is causing it to putter (hesitate) with its idle. If anybody could give me tips I would gladly appreciate it.

The oil leak by the exhaust..if youre talking about above the manifold that could be the valve cover gasket..Below might be the oil pan seal or crankshaft seal. I would do plugs, wires, flush the transmission, air filter just the normal stuff and let it be. That car has lived a long life as it is. It should last quite a while longer.

Oil is the life blood of your engine. In a Saturn it is more important than any other Car. cdxhizors is likely right, your valve/Cam cover is probably leaking. Fix that and watch your Oil level like a hawk. Don't ever let the level get low, not even half a quart. If you keep your Saturn fed, full and clean, it will reward you with years of great service.
Welcome and Good luck!
