Well there's been a slight change of plans..

I'm planning to go s/c by the end of the year. My friend had a second M62 he had bought new that he was going to play with, but he changed his mind and is selling it to me at an unbelievable price. I've made a list of what I need with the help of our mutual friend/Ecotec tuner, and so far what's going on the ion first is:
LSJ Throttle Body
LSJ Catback
ZZP Cat'd downpipe with wideband bung
ZZP Shorty Header
AEM Wideband
Aeroforce Interceptor scan gauge
ZZP A-Pillar Gauge Pod

These parts will work (with a "in-the-mean-time" Tune) naturally aspirated and are also needed for the M62 s/c, so while I'm collecting the other parts (manifold, injectors, front mount I/c, lsj radiator hose etc) I'll have some extra power. After I collect the other parts I'll re-tune and be good to go. Apparently if I get a high enough flowing exhaust I could even pulley down and make more power without detonating. I've heard stock L61's are good to around 10psi, and a guy with a L61 just did the same thing in my area... just in a cobalt lol.

What a tie...

Stock l61s are good for stage 1 reliably. Make sure they can crack the ecu on your car before you commit...

He's going to check it out Thursday evening but he has to register my vin with HPTuners, he said it wouldn't be a problem but we'll find out. I'm mostly excited for the gains the first batch of parts will give me. Even though its not much I like knowing I'm doing something to my car that actually adds performance. I'm sticking with my factory manifold instead of the LE5 because torque > horsepower. And that way I only have to swap intakes once not twice lol. I also got a hold of ZZP and they told me the Eibach Sportline springs will fit my car, and I've found those to go the lowest over the pro-kit and H&R's. I Just need KYB struts.
