Default 97 SC2 front body damage

I have a 97 Red coupe that ran great til my grandson slid into the car in front of him. He smacked the drivers upper side pretty good, but the frame and cradle looks good. I am now pondering replacing the upper rail. 97-99 body skins are supposed to fit. In looking at the rails though, it looks like there is a change in the 99's. New one looks a little squarer. Also in my 97, the radiator and AC condenser are more perpendicular than the later ones. The 99's I have looked at are angled foreward under the front pumper. Anybody have any experience with this? Will it fit in my 97 or should I just keep looking for a 97-98 ?

97-2000 SC models are identical. All body parts are interchangeable for the four years.
