Trouble turning the car on

Hey guys, I've had trouble turning the key lately once it's in the ignition. My key is the original that came with the car (1997) and it's a stub lol. I have to wiggle it around a bit to get it to turn now. Would this be a key or, whatever you call the thingie where you stick your key in (giggity) problem?

Could be either. Easiest thing to do is to go to the dealer (GM dealership that took over the responsibilities of the old Saturn dealership) and have them make a new key based on the VIN.

If that doesn't work, you can try lubricating the cylinder (key hole) with either graphite (any hardware store) or powdered mica (Oldnuc likes to recommend this), but this is hard to find, especially in small amounts.

If step 1 and 2 don't work, you will probably need to have the ignition cylinder replaced by the dealership (not cheap) because it is not an easy DIY job from what I've read here.
