i have had this car for about 2 months now and i bought it with 75k miles on it. the clutch pedal has a lot of play room before it actually starts acting AS THE CLUTCH PEDAL. it is hard to get into gear sometimes, i will have to push the clutch in really hard and put all of my weight on it to get it into gear. and someone told me there is no way to adjust a hydraulic clutch?
also my car is idling between 1500 and 2000 rpms. its fine when i first turn it on but after driving it and putting it back in neutral it will idle high like that. if anyone has had these problems or any solutions to fix it please let me know. thank you so much

sounds like you have air in your clutch system.

the play in the clutch pedal is most likely the same issue i have with mine. The socked in which the clutch push rod snaps into is most likely worn out and isn't holding the joint in correctly and it is sliding out (giving you that play). The only true solution is to purchase a new clutch pedal, I use trademotion.com and gmpartsshop.com for my parts and look for part numbers 15274047 and 22707921 for the new pedal and clip. Unfortunately the pedal is a little pricey =[. and I agree with the others, clean the TB, I had the same problem with my 98 SL1 and i cleaned the TB out and it mellowed out =]
