Dont expect it to get better. Saab is gone, the cobalt and G6 are gone, and the Cruze uses 5x105.

Maybe I should change the name of my car from vomit comet (bissel home carpet cleaner hose did a fantastic job) to annie as in orphan annie.

OP - would i kill you to drive the car with the current wheels until the tires are toast then buy new wheel and tires? Why did you not think of the need to budget for wheels, and see if they existed when you bought the car?

the g6 rims would fit right? I'm just looking for an affordable set that have the star look

What about a set of Elbrus 102's ...sort of a 'star look '........I think Tire Rack carry them.

FWIW......here's how the 102's look on a Focus just to ballpark how they might look on the Astra...

I agree...here's another look at the 105s below....and I think these have an ' ice coating ' .......which make them a good ' winter alloy ' choice as well ( i.e. the pic below is of 18" 105's with winter tire Blizzaks mounted on them )....

Thanks... Hmmm they probably sit higher on a 4 door though.. Just want to close the wheel gap and the g6 17's are very affordable

the three door comes stanard with the sport suspension which is a little lower than the standard suspension. look up the articles from 08 for details that i forgot.

the g6 wheel offset is something like 1cm different than the opel wheels it came with. the g6 wheels have my winter tires on them. for what I paid I am very happy.

ended up getting a set of G6 rims as well.. missing one center cap though.. wonder if the saturn ones would fit.

anyone know if center caps are one size fit all?
