Default 1997 Saturn SC1 TAAT Transmission

I have a 97 saturn sc1 my problem is it dont shift sometimes when hot slips in 3rd i dont think i even have a 4th i have a sohc engine but once i hit 3rd it slips out of gear and i can unplug one of the 4 connectors from the ecm once i get in 3rd gear and it drives fine but i have to stop the car and put it in neutral or turn it off and plug the plug back in the ecm to reset the ecm pcm or whatever is being reset. ive tested the valve body with the cover on all solenoids read 5.5 ohms on the money ! I went to the local u pull it tested the valve bodies on 2 cars there and they both hit 5.5 ohms on every solenoid.

Im wondering if im not testing them right as in are they hot enough maybe ?

Is it really hard to shift?
If so , you can remove the linkage to see if it's the cable
With linkage removed you will be able to go through all the positions easily.
Good luck

You might want to focus on the Neutral Safety Switch.
