Default Won't start acts like dead battery

2007 Outlook wouldn't start. Acted like dead battery. Installed new battery. Started fine with new battery. Two days latter after sitting engine turned over real slow caught then died. Loaded on roll back and took to dealer. After one day at shop they could not find anything draining battery. They said it starts fine now. Anyone have similar experience? Did you find anything wrong?

There is a tech bulletin out about the dash turning on if the wrong program is in the computer and kills the battery. There is another issue that the a/c can continue to run , and the dealer can shut that off. Search here and if you don't find anything you can go to www.saturnoutlookforum.net, lots of Lambda (Outlook, Traverse, etc) infor there. Good luck.

Idea Re: Won't start acts like dead battery

There was a TSB mentioned in a thread awhile back I think this is the one, http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...ain%2C+outlook

A friend of mine who also has a Outlook had a battery problem a couple yrs bk., and his SaturnDealer (still 'roundatthetime) swamped out the battery possibly upgrading something in software too (i think) He has not mentioned any problem since ....

good luck,

doug

Default Re: Won't start acts like dead battery

We had a similar issue with our 2007 Outlook. After several trips to the dealer they finally found the driver door switch was sticking causing the battery to drain. Everything has been fine since they replaced the door switch. Just my .02 worth.
