Dizzy Electrical Problem?

Electrical problem ?
1995 Saturn SL2 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 99,350 miles

While driving, after 10-15 minues or warmed up, car will abruptly downshift all the way to 1st gear from 4th gear and won't let you shift back up until you come to a complete stop. Will start back up again after getting into 4th gear. I unplugged the turbine speed sensor to allow me to drive it without this problem, but it shifts hard (exept in reverse) Car is hesitating badly upon acceleration; and when idling, rpm's surge. The transmission was swapped with an 94 sl2. Check Engine Light through me a 22 code (tps - low voltage) Transmission dtc's through me a 22,23,24 codes (no 2nd,3rd, or 4th gear.) Replaced TPS and stopped the hesitation only temperarily. Old TPS was tested and still is in working order. Replaced vehicle speed sensor and Turbine speed sensor and this did not fix it. I am graduation from the mechanic program soon and I can't figure out what the problem is.

You need a 1995-2002 mp7 transaxle.

its not the year that makes a difference its the trans axles like the previous post said. our car was a 95 sl2. the previous owners replaced the tranny with a 94 sl1. the gear ratios are different so they are not compatible. sold the car for 400 to a junk company. didn't have the time or money to fix it. thanks for replys

...
93 sl1
96 sc1
95 sl2
97 sc2
