Dizzy engine swap computer question

Donor car:
1996 SC2 w/ manual (major body damage)

Going into:
1993 SC2 w/ auto (bad engine, says seller)

I want to swap the entire front engine/ manual trans/ suspension assembly from my wrecked 96 SC2 into a 93 SC2 with auto.

Will there be computer issues with the different transmission? OBDI/ OBDII issues? Should I use my PCM from the 96 car?

thanks for any help,
-Josh

You'll need a PCM for a 1993 DOHC (SL2, SC2 or SW2) with a manual transmission. If you the automatic PCM you run the risk of over revving the engine and blowing it. You'll also have decreased performance.

No such thing as an OBDI or OBDII engine or transmission.

Nope. It wont plug in. You'll need the PCM I listed above.

You also have to swap a few of the sensors/solenoids from the 1993 engine onto the 1996 engine. Another thing you'll need to swap from the 1993 engine onto the 1996 engine is the intake manifold, throttlebody, fuel rail, injectors and vacuum line assembly. Basicall unbolt the intake manifold with everything still attached and swap it over to the new engine.
