2007 Outlook XR
Default Vanity mirror cover/switch

Not the biggest problem, but - is it possible to switch/exchange the cover from the passenger side to the driver side? The one on my wife's side has a broken flange on one side and will only sporadically operate the lights(tough world, huh!?). I COULD replace it(only $131 + tax), but a less-expensive fix is preferable. Has anyone tried successfully to remove/replace the cover? Does the sunshade have to be taken apart, or can the cover simply be snapped off for exchange?
