Wrench Simple horn upgrade $10-30

The stock horn connector is labeled is live and ground, very nice of GM.
This is the same generic air horn you can buy at Kragen/Oreilly, Auto Zone or Pep boys. Probably even Wal Mart.

For reference I made a couple paint scribbles/labels on the pics. I found the best pic to describe the stock horn tone by google pic-ing "astra stock horn" and that nice man's face came up.

I have the stock horn with the angle towards the back of the car slightly to the right. The second shot is also towards the back but more focused on the wheel well (more passs side-ish).

Scared that garbage/landscape/semi/lifted redneck truck won't see you as he changes lanes, just honk

I did the same with a couple $13 (low & high tone) electric horns from O'Reilly. I went for the 130dB flavor. The upside is that it's "right now" and doesn't have to wait for the compressor to spool up. Sometimes the quick honk is more helpful than the long blast.

The compressor lag is similar to LED brake lights vs traditional-so minor I don't think it really matters... It is SUPER EFFECTIVE though.
