Is the color more brown in person? They look black in the pic, which looks freakin awesome, but I really liked the color you had in your photoshop. Either way, fantastic looking car. Are you using spacers?

I don't have any halloween pics of my car but i do have crappy iphone pics of the treats i got this weekend:

I'll start a new thread when i have some updates

Are you running the VMRs with adapters or wobble bolts?

I also looked at the FSDs, but they were meant more for stock height vehicle performance, and not lowering performance

The wheels are brown in direct light and fade to dark charcoal in the shade.

I had to use hub rings on my wheels when I installed them to get the wobble out. Just a plastic ring that goes on my wheel and fits the hub properly. You'll have to get the wheel and the hub mic'd to get the right size you'll need.

pretty much any wheel that's not OEM will need those rings, just to adapt the hub sizes so they mate up nice and snug.

From what I've read the FSDs can handle a slight drop perfectly fine. Koni's website even suggests pairing the FSDs with the Eibach Pro-Kit. Nothing lower than that though. The main reason I went with the FSDs is to maintain a decent ride comfort level after the drop. This is my daily driver so performance wasn't my number 1 priority, but I'm sure I'll still see a significant performance improvement over my stock XE suspension.

I got the wobble bolts.

Got them from Charlie at serpentautosport.com. He's based somewhere in Los Angeles. I didn't know the Astra needed the 12x1.5 size, he's the one that told me. He had them in stock.

Thanks for the info. I have someone who could get me a rear rebar. Do you happen to know the part # I should be looking for. Does it have to be an '08 or will a earlier model do...say '04-'08. Thanks for the help

I dont think the structure changed at all for pre-facelift to post-facelift, so any 3-door Astra H rear rebar should work.
