Default Fuel Filter Attachment

This is the first time I'm going to replace the fuel filter myself, I have a Saturn Ion 2004 2.2liters Sedan, and I read this article: http://www.aa1car.com/library/fuel_filters.htm

Basically my question is how (in a Saturn Ion) is the hose attached to the filter and what kind of washers / fittings would I need to get? Also, do I need a special tool to replace the fuel filter on this car?

Default Re: Fuel Filter Attachment

You will need to get a special fuel line disconnect tool from an autoparts store like AutoZone, Advanced Auto, NAPA, etc. Buy a repair manual, or check out RedlineForums or Ionforums.Net for a How-To on this procedure.
