Cool Greetings...I should have done this to begin with

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have already posted a few things, but figured I would introduce myself here! With help from some people in here I was able to diagnose and fix my car at a pretty reasonable rate! And isnt that what these forums are all about? Getting help from people who have had the problem so you dont get torn apart at a garage? Well, one thing I suppose. Let me just say this right now, I will help anyone that I can with advice, as I have received help. BUT let me also say this, if you feel the need to respond to a thread with sarcasm or ridicule, I will dish it right back. Is there an unwritten rule that says just because you're not face to face with each other, being polite is not required? Anyway, with that said...

I have owned my Ion for about 2yrs now. Since I got the car I have had this and that pop up, of which was covered under warranty when I purchased the car. I still love the car. I know Saturns have been good cars, where I live there are many MANY older ones still on the road. Also, the body being made of "plastic" is good for where I live as many cars are eaten by rust in the first few years of their lives.

Thats all I have to write at the moment, I hope I can help someone with a dilemma as I have been helped....despite some hecklin, but hey, every message board has 'em!

Happy Driving everyone!!
Liz

Welcome to SaturnFans.com! If you find folks ridiculing you are someone else, please report the post(s) right away. It's against the rules of this forum to badger folks like that.

See you around the boards!!

Hi Liz and Welcome!

I have been here for years and can say that you will meet people from all walks of life here with Saturns and other cars. For the most part, everyone here helps each other and thats the best part of this site. This is one of the few places where the moderator allows people to speak freely so yea, you will meet some of those "other people" once in awhile. Even I have been guilty of temporarily morphing into one of the "others" when I disagree with a post, it's human nature, LOL.

There are some great people here who you will meet that will help you with all things Saturn, myself included - so Welcome!
