My saturn dealer told me that 10,000 was produced for 2007 and that's how many are going to be produced for 2008

2007 SKY Red Line
2004 ION Red Line
Default Re: How Many 2007 Red Line Skys Will Be Produced?

That's wrong. RL production did not start at the begining of the 07 production. Also Saturn has said 2008 production will be raised for the RL model to 10,000 so 07 production wouldnt be the same if they are going to raise production. The same thing happened with the ION Redline in 2004. The goal was 5,000 a year, but since production started late, only 1200 04's were made. 05-07 though, they hit the mark

Saturn never produced 5,000 Ion Red Lines in one year. They only produced around 5,500 between 04-07 combined. Not a very high production car at all.

As far as the Sky RL, 10,000 a year? That seems kind of high. Then again, I've seen 5 Sky RLs in the past month or two, so it's definately not too limited.

2009 SKY Red Line
Default Re: How Many 2007 Red Line Skys Will Be Produced?

IIRC, they're staying around 10,000 Skys a year but bumping up the RLs from 40% to 60% of that.
