Oil Capacity for 2000 SL2
Hello,
Can someone please advise me of the oil capacity for the 2000 SL2. I've searched everywhere for engine specs, but all I can find is the usual 1.9L, DOHC stuff. How much oil does the engine hold up the fill level on the dip stick. Thx

I believe Wolfman once said 4.25 qt. - even though the manual might say 4

I always put in the 4 qts the manual recommends. Then end up topping it off with about 1/4 quart. Wolfman is always right.

its 4qt stock, but its always good to go about 1/4qt over to compensate blow by and such. as stated above, wolfman is always right, you will do good to not question him, if you read anything that he posts, lol

A little more oil cant hurt u since it has to go thru the whole system and wait until u try a dodge viper oil filter on the saturn (it fits) It uses up almost 1 QUART!!!
