2007 Outlook XR
Default Re: Employee pricing

My dealer was careful to mention that they would "try and accomodate" us if price became an issue; I took this to mean that they would go under MSRP to make the sale --- they knew we were This || close to getting an odyessey.

Turns out that we got a GMS discount, so they didn't/couldn't deal on the price. Gotta hand it to them, though. Even though they made next to nothing on the sale, they went out of their way to help us get what we wanted.

Cheers

Well I guess Saturn is different, I went in and ordered today and the dealership refused to budge on MSRP. They said Saturn was a no haggle company; of course I thought they were BS'ing me, but I wanted an Outlook so I didnt let the $1000 or so bother me.

I ordered a pretty much fully loaded Outlook came to about $43k; they told me 4-6 weeks; I have seen others saying 11 weeks; I sure hope its closer to 4; cant wait to get it!

This is the first time I have ever paid MSRP - of course prior to trade and incentives ...

YEP, I started at the MSRP like the rest of you - I couldnt comment on it before because I hadnt yet been to the dealership. I had always been able to haggle before but they said they couldnt do it. I let it go, wasnt worth the trouble - I lost the game, but I won in the end; I'm getting a new Outlook! Oh and they finally stopped pushing add-ons so we sorta met half way - well not really but thats the way it goes with Saturn I guess ...
