2006 VUE 2.2L
Default Hello

Jessica from central Florida. I have a 2006 vue 2.2 with 213,201 miles.
I bought her brand new and we have had our ups and downs over the years. I have changed the front passenger side hub assembly 4 times now and had the transmission rebuilt at 190,000 miles because it failed. She is my baby though.

We are a Saturn family. And the Saturn design saved my legs in an accident I was in. After that, Saturn has been all I drive.
Nice to meet you all.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

2003 VUE 3.0L
Default Re: Hello

I am having so much trouble navigating this board, the idea is creeping into my head to push my 2003 Saturn Vue 3.0 with 255,000 miles on it over a convenient cliff. I am looking for intel to make the right choices when I do a major overhaul of the following; change spark plugs, install new thermostat, change out all OS sensors (P0171B, P0174B, ) and any other stuff found after pulling the top off. Next I want to change out the A/C Compressor and all the hoses. I am going to try to do all on one weekend. Before I invest in all the parts and any gasket replacement purchases I need to know if there is anything else to think about after going online and finding OEM parts hopefully. I have found a few youtube videos to school me and aside from the amount of dismantling it takes I feel confidant. Am I on the right track?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Welcome to SaturnFans, boomerbarry!

I'm sorry you're having trouble navigating this website. There are many members willing to give as much help as they can unreservedly. I've been around for nearly five years and have sorted out how to find things here - and I'm no internet whiz - so I'm sure that you can, too. While the Advanced Search Feature can be tough to work with, a Google search can yield good results from within SaturnFans. It's not a hopeless situation.

Please repost your message in the Vue Tech Forum. That will help in getting assistance from fellow members. I will say that with regard to the thermostat and spark plug replacement there's good in formation in the L Series Tech Forum since that car also used the 3.0L V6. Most members have found that the thermostat replacement was a full days worth of work by itself. I have a hunch that with all that you're hoping to accomplish you might consider that it will cross into three days worth of work.
