rumble
hey guys i'm looking to get a little throatier and deeper sound out of my 99
SC1. can anyone suggest a specific muffler that would give me a low sound? I definitely dont want to get a ricey sound ot of it, that would be disappointing. Thanks

the longest glasspack you can find in whatever size pipe you're doing your car in. this will give you the deepest sound.

After the cat, put in the longest resonator or glasspack you can in there. As for muffler, I recommend Thermal R&D. I have their catback, and it sounds awesome. Make sure you use something for a resonator, or it will sound like crap no matter which muffler you put on.

on an SOHC you won't need a muffler if you stick the longest glass pack on there, it'll be pretty quiet and you probably wouldn't like. i have a 31" glasspack dumped before the wheels and its slightly louder than a full exhaust with a muffler and i also went with 2" piping too so that made a difference.
... SRI with AEM filter, 31" thrush glasspack to turndown before rear wheels, NGK copper plugs
