2008 AURA XE
Default Re: Should I get my Aura fixed or look for a new car?

I had that same oil leak issue. I was considering pulling down the oil filter mount and replacing the gasket. However, my water pump failed after already having the radiator and crossover replace. It had slowly seeped out my coolant without me realizing just how low it was. The engine went dry and dead. My Aura is no more now for all purposes unless I find a home for her willing to replace the engine, transmission and assorted other things that far outweigh the value of the vehicle. She is currently a driveway ornament. She made it to 146,000 miles.
