You need to loosen the _bracket_ that that dogbone strut attaches to. Two nuts on studs pointing downward. Then give the powertrain a little shake from above, to "re-seat" the bracket in its elongated holes, and re-tighten.

But ^^^^^ +1 dummo; what's up with the old mount? Looks like there was something out of place, rubbing against it. Maybe it's rubbing against the new mount now. Can you get a shot of the mount as it's installed now?
