We knew that the CVT transmissions were a pile of junk from the outset. I was told by a production guy that the test drivers at Milford would draw straws to see who had to test the Saturn. The loser got the keys and a radio to call for a tow when it broke down.

During the early stages of testing, some of them would make only 50 miles before they broke down. But when GM insists that were we going to put them in the Vue, what can you do?
