if as you say... then why the difference between the lcv and ltg 4cyc wngine they are the same size exteranly share the same block&head set up the only difference is 1 is a bigger displacement for natural asperation????i don't pretend to be a performance geek.. i deal with the turbo's and superchargers as i have to..gm seems to like them in some applacations...there is also the instance of the 3.6L v6 and the 2.8 turbo version of 3.6L agani same size externaly. lower comp ratio..only bore/stroke and pistion size the difference oh and the 2010 2.8Lturbo requires premum....as well as the ats 2.0.. the other engines in these applications use regular....
