You can absolutely top-off Conventional with Syn blend. The blends are usually just 10% Syn.

This is very good oil. For $1 a Quart with in-store pick-up or shipped to your front door for FREE, it's hard to pass up for anyone not running a top quality Syn. Especially for oil burners that get fed whatever- how can you go wrong!?!?!
