The Astra should be fine on 87 octane; it's the high-compression and direct injection turbo fours like the LNF that require premium fuel for optimum performance. The 2H0 motor (1.8L Ecotec) has economy in mind. Double check your owners manual, just to be sure. Doesn't anyone read these things anymore?
