I don't think so as the only change needed would be to the remaining oil life counter needing programming to match yours. Leaving this out just means resetting the OLM and changing the oil and filter so the OLM is in sych with the new oil change. Or not change the oil and filter and wait for the next change reminder unless you change at shorter intervals.

You should be able to use your used pcm immediately after performing the relearn procedure.
