Re: Ls2 v6 turning over but not starting

This strictly my personal understanding of our vacuum regulation of fuel pressure. A diaphragm separates the vacuum side (connected to either the intake manifold directly or to the black plastic...

Re: Compression Gauge / Tester Value Model Recommendations

As mentioned, the two gauges you linked look identical and probably inexpensive for a reason. Even the Innova gauge has negative reviews.

If you're not pressed for time and can shop around, try...

Re: 2001 LW300 keeps stalling - please help!

Rj 2000 LS2, what I described previously apples only to Saturn vehicles with drive by wire throttle and pedal. Anything not described from Saturn service manuals should not be interpreted as...

Re: 2000 SL2 fast idle.

If this tps/fast idle returns and your new found discovery of corrosion returns, try DeOxit, a spray cleaner, deoxidizer and treatment for corroded terminals.

Re: Ls2 v6 turning over but not starting

Did you read my long winded post when my car ('03 L300) popped a P0304 code in the link back in post #18? While I usually suggest testing for fuel several ways, I used my own suggestions to rule out...

Re: 2001 LW300 keeps stalling - please help!

This is anecdotal testimony from one person, me. As owner of an '03 L300, replacing two alternators, an ign coil pack, front cooling fan, pulling fuses and relays, disconnecting and reconnecting...

Re: ABS + BRAKE light

Well, I wouldn't use that dvm for its inaccurate measurement. Many swear by inexpensive multimeters and you may have inadvertently pointed out how some can mislead with incorrect measurements. As a...

Re: Ls2 v6 turning over but not starting

I can only come up with two reasons for fuel not to spray from injectors; Passlock flashing it's security symbol while starting and the single injector fuse is blown.

Re: Mystery skipping issue

The only difference between most generic readers priced from $20-$300 and high end readers/scantools are the capabilities of high end stuff to test each sensor individually, provide a digital moving...

Re: ABS + BRAKE light

Most multimeters with auto range means the decimal moves automatically. If manually selecting 'mv' (millivolts), a maximum range is labeled, like '300 mv' - 0.001-0.300 volt. 1/1000, one millivolt,...

Re: ABS + BRAKE light

It is possible for good store tests to be misleading as you found out. Perhaps there's more to detecting the occasional borderline alternator that doesn't show up in home or store tests. Most store...

Re: 2007 Vue compatible navigation system?

Wow!? Crutchfield gps systems from $250 all the way up to $3000?! I'm sure there are good ones on eBay for less but shopping is required for compatibility for plug 'n play. I don't know if things...

Re: fuel filter for saturn vue 2005 4cyl

Re: Tuning for 05 saturn ion 3 2.2l L61, needing help

Re: P0300 code. 2006 Saturn Ion 2.2

Re: Tuning for 05 saturn ion 3 2.2l L61, needing help

You might have an uphill battle attempting add turbocharging without a dedicated or custom ecm, upgraded injectors, 2 or 3 bar map sensor and other miscellaneous items.

Did you consider stock...

Just guessing on my part - oil clogging the tiny hole in the hydraulic valve lifter? Once it's gummed up, pressurized oil has a hard time getting in and out. Short of tearing the cylinder head off...
